From the moment we were introduced to AHI Marine we received a fully professional service. They overhauled our vessel’s antique Volvo Penta inboard engine, aligned the engine and C drive and serviced our Onan genset. We are very pleased with the quality of workmanship and would highly recommend to anyone in need of an experienced diesel mechanic.

We've chosen AHI Marine for several years now to maintain our vessel and Volvo IPS 950s. Nothing is a problem as they always have a solution.

AHI Marine is by far the best engineering company we have come across. They quickly identified a worn out rudder bearing. Previous yards said it would be expensive but AHI Marine made a new one while we waited and it fit like a glove!

We engaged AHI Marine to complete a major refit on our power cat. Work was completed in all areas of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Frequently asked questions

Can you repair heat exchangers?

Yes. Refurbishment and remanufacturing is a more cost effective service pathway than off the shelf replacement.

Remanufacturing often takes less time compared to shipping out of stock parts from overseas suppliers.

What if I'm not in Gold Coast?

AHI Marine is based at The Boatworks Coomera on Australia's Gold Coast.

Vessels travelling the East Coast are encouraged to schedule a call back to get your work booked in to coincide with your passage.

Heat exchangers can be sent to and from our facility.

Why do you offer a call back service?

The shortest path to fixing your heat exchanger is to speak directly to a marine engineering expert at AHI Marine.

Endless searching online often leads to more frustration, confusion and time wasted as engineering issues worsen.

Is there any obligation?

Not at all.

First and foremost we're here to help. AHI Marine will contact you at your preferred time to understand your requirements

We will provide expert advice and see if the issues you face are the right fit for AHI Marine.

Are AHI Marine engineering experts?

With over 500+ clients and 20+ years servicing vessels on Australia's Gold Coast AHI Marine is your go to friendly and reliable service provider of large catamarans and monohulls.

Do you replace marine heat exchangers?

Yes, but where possible we prefer to remanufacture. This surprisingly takes less time and is nearly always more cost efficient.

Do you offer emergency heat exchanger repair services?

In emergencies vessels moored locally at The Boatworks and Gold Coast City Marina can be inspected and receive diagnostics in situ.
